Mission
The Molalla Buckeroo Junior Court program is a cherished tradition dedicated to fostering leadership, confidence, and community pride in our local youth. As official ambassadors for the Molalla Buckeroo, these young women represent our town through public speaking, community service, and a commitment to preserving our Western heritage. Our mission is to provide a platform for these future leaders to grow their skills and serve their community while honoring the spirit of the rodeo.
Princess Ali (Alison Ernst)
Alison “Ali” Ernst is honored to represent her community as a 2026 Molalla Buckeroo Princess. Although born in Portland, Ali is a Molalla girl through and through, having been raised in the heart of the town she so dearly loves. A dedicated athlete on the soccer field and a servant-leader off of it, she is guided by her steadfast faith and the cherished bonds she shares with her family and friends. Known for her contagious joy and quiet confidence, Ali is eager to serve as an ambassador for her hometown, sharing her faith-driven heart and welcoming spirit with everyone she meets.
Princess Ellie (Elizabeth Britton)
Elizabeth “Ellie” Britton is a proud 8th grader at Molalla River Middle School who is thrilled to represent her hometown as a 2026 Princess. With nine years of experience on the soccer field, Ellie brings a deep understanding of teamwork and leadership to the court. Her commitment to excellence continues in the 4-H arena, where showing lambs at the Clackamas County Fair has instilled in her a formidable work ethic and a true sense of responsibility. Driven by a respect for Western traditions, Ellie’s goal is to inspire the next generation to dream big and work hard as she serves as an ambassador for the Molalla Buckeroo.
Princess Rae (Raelynn Wellman)
Raelynn “Rae” Wellman is a true daughter of Molalla. Princess Rae was born and raised in the community she is now honored to represent. An avid outdoorswoman, she is most at home in the saddle or competing in fast-paced gaming competitions. Rae brings that same energy to the volleyball court, where she thrives on teamwork and school spirit. Off the court, her heart for service shines through her involvement in school Leadership and the RACK (Random Acts of Kindness) Club. Rae is excited to bring her adventurous spirit and dedication to kindness to the Molalla Buckeroo Court this year.
Princess Raelynn (Raelynn Johnson)
Raelynn Johnson is an active 6th-grader at St. Agatha Catholic School and is honored to serve as a 2026 Molalla Buckeroo Princess. A dedicated equestrian and animal lover, Raelynn spends her summers competing on the junior rodeo circuit in breakaway roping, goat tying, and barrel racing. When she isn’t in the saddle, she stays busy showing goats in 4-H and giving back to her community through various service projects. With future dreams of becoming a teacher, Raelynn is eager to use her leadership role this year to inspire other young girls and represent the traditions of Molalla with pride.
